Ways to Worship

Ways to Worship

As well as the traditional pattern of services, our church is also a space that is used for other forms of prayerful activity.

Our Church is Open Daily

St Luke’s Church is an open house of prayer and is therefore open to the public every day from XXam to XXpm. It is our hope that those who enter may enjoy the space and feel free to use it whenever they wish.

Prayer Requests

A Prayer Request Board is provided to allow you to make your prayer needs known (prayer slips are provided in the basket beneath the prayer board). You may also Submit a Prayer Request directly to us using the link in the footer below.

Lighting a Candle

The votive stand is positioned next to the Prayer Request Board at the front of the church, where you may take the opportunity to light a candle, symbolising your prayer or in remembrance of a loved one.

Laying-on-of-Hands

The Ministry of Prayer with Laying-on-of-Hands for Healing, is available every Sunday. If you would like this for yourself, or another, please speak to one of the Ministers.

Community Groups

Worship can mean different things to different people. For some it is attending our regular services for others it also includes attending our community group activities such as our Saturday Morning Coffee or monthly Book Club.

Regular Services

We warmly welcome you to join us in any of our congregations. For an outline pattern of our regular services, please refer to our Services page.
